Experience The Thrill of Outdoor Climbing in South Wales
Discover the thrill of outdoor climbing in South Wales, perfect for anyone seeking their first rock climbing adventure. While indoor climbing is a great start, experienced climbers will tell you that the real excitement happens outdoors. The natural rock formations offer unique challenges and rewards that you won’t find on an indoor wall. In the Brecon Beacons, you’ll be surrounded by stunning landscapes as you scale natural crags that test your technique and endurance. The quarries of Morlais offer a different, yet equally exciting experience, with their steep faces and striking views.
Your journey begins with a safety briefing from a qualified instructor who will guide you on how to use the equipment before you tackle the 30 to 60 ft crags in the stunning Brecon Beacons or the striking quarries of Morlais in Merthyr Tydfil. Throughout the experience, professional instruction will be provided to ensure you feel secure and confident as you ascend.

Colleen T27 May 2025Fantastic gorge walking activity with professional instructor. The whole experience, from booking to taking part was fantastic. On the day, quite a few of our group were a little nervous and Neil, our instructor, was excellent with our mixed ability group. We had non swimmers and some who found the Gorge walking more physically challenging and he made it enjoyable for all of us. This was a Hen do activity which i think will be remembered and talked about for years to come.Verified
