Saturday AM- Gorge Scrambling (aka Canyoning)

Our Gorge Scrambling experience (aka Canyoning) typically involves scrambling, climbing, crawling, waterfall jumps and much more, set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
On arrival you will be provided with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet …as soon as you start you’ll see why! Our gorge walking experience is unique and we have been running this activity for many years. During this time have developed the most challenging, exciting, fast paced and adventurous experience set amidst spectacular scenery.

Saturday PM – Survival skills & overnight wild camping

Learn survival skills at our exclusive wild camping woodland site in the heart of the Brecon Beacons.  *BBQ  under canopy and relax around the camp fire for a few well earned drinks.   For full details of what is included take a look here. 

If you prefer bunkhouse accommodation please let us know upon booking.

Surf Sunday

Mixed surfing activities including Surf Kayaking, Surfing & Body Boarding. Even in gentle surf conditions our sit on top kayaks can ride even the smallest of white waves all the way to the shore and are great fun even in a very low surf. Stand Up Paddle Boarding is a great alternative in flat conditions.

Not Included- what to bring:
  • for Gorge Scrambling- Particpants need to bring along suitable footwear i.e. trainers, boots- not open toe sandals or flip flops
  • Sleeping bag- recommended camping mat also

Location

All of these activities take place in the Waterfall country of the Brecon Beacons national park classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We meet outside Pontneddfechan village Hall- SA11 5NU Gorge Scrambling takes place at this location. The wild camping location is several miles from here and you will need your own transport, where possible we encourage lift sharing from the meeting point.
